Nutrition in early life: a global priority
On Oct 14—18, Berlin will host the first World Health Summit. The prevention of adult chronic diseases through interventions in young children is one of the summit's key topics. Promotion of good nutrition in early life is essential for health later in life because either undernutrition or overnutrition can cause lifelong, irreversible damage.
