Distance Learning Courses on Tobacco Control

PHFI - Public Health Foundation of IndiaPublic Health Foundation of India (PHFI) is launching 3-month (Certificate) Distance Learning Courses on Tobacco Control. Developed in collaboration with University of Southern California (USC) and Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health (JHSPH) and tailored to India, these courses are designed for health professionals, legal professionals, administrators, law enforcement officers and journalists and are designed to allow professionals to work on module their own pace. The course has been developed under project Strengthening of Tobacco Control Efforts through innovative Partnerships and Strategies (STEPS) Please disseminate the link to anyone who would be interested.

The courses, which are being launched on 31st May, 2011 (WNTD) will be offered three times a year: Batch 1: June, 2011 to August, 2011, Batch II: October, 2011 to December, 2011 and Batch III: February, 2012 to April, 2012. The deadline to receive applications for first batch of all the courses is 10th May, 2011.
