National Geographic brings together stories of women warriors across generations in narrowing the gap of gender equality. Today, no country in the world has achieved gender equality. The Gender Gap Report reminds us of a 32% gender gap that remains to be closed globally. Gaps in educational attainment, as well as health and survival, are narrowing. Still, larger gaps remain in economic and political empowerment. |
