*Macro-economic effects of cardiovascular diseases (With special emphasis on developing economies and economies in transition)

Talvez fosse oportuno no seminário discutirmos alguns protocolos neste sentido.
Um abraço Reginaldo Albuquerque

Dear Aloyzio:
I have been following the development of the 6th ICPC.
The Subjects you show us on this communication look quite interesting and provovative mainly for developing countries

I would like to suggest again a subject , that has not been explored enough in Latin America and I believe is really a concrete area to think about for primary prevention of CVD . What I mean, tis the aplication of strategies intervening the cluster school children and famiily, what is worth to be considered. I do not know if you remember that I have been working for long time in this line of research, and we have some interesting results to show and put under discussion.
I wrote to you at the very beginnig of your call for this event. But you do not answer my messages and do not send the acknowledgement of them.
Would you be so kind as to give your opinion and /or the opinion of the corresponding committee, any opinion?, I do not mind if you do not agree I will have to accept the veredict.
I would apreciate your answer.

Yours truly

Dear Ximena,
Thanks for your suggestion.
I know and it is public your efforts and achievements on prevention in school settings and schoolchildren. It is a good suggestion and we may see to whom of the speakers to post your contribution, wainting also more input from other friends interested in our Conference.
I don't remember leting one of your messages without reply. It is possible to have communications drop out in the internet.
About this issue, it was so valued for us that while as chairman of WHF council we celebrated a partnership with UNESCO to better explore this strategy.
This new instrument of Blog is good because anyone can make comments and they will be public, opening the opportunity to have a social suport to good contributions.
Using this instrument you may comment as an anonymous, even signing your message, or opening an official space, signing in the system, creating also a password to further interventions and also creating a personal profile for free. So other members of the dialog may know other features of the interlocutor.
I hope many other people use this communication instrument opening an actual pre-conference dialogue.
Best wishes to you Ximena.
