World Bank: MDG poverty commitments unlikely to change
World leaders will reaffirm their commitment to halve the number of people living in poverty by 2015 in line with the Millennium Development Goals, but the effects of the global economic crisis are likely to keep them from promising to set any additional targets, the World Bank says in a report.
