40 Percent of US Adults Harassed Online

The conversation about bullying often revolves around youngsters, but they are not the only victims. Data show that some 40 percent of US adults face harassment online in the form of name-calling, intentional embarrassment, threats, sexual harassment, and stalking. Of adults targeted in this manner, young adults are the most frequently victimized, with 65 percent reporting being subjected to such harassment.
