March 8, 2011, marks the 100th anniversary of International Women's Day. These past 100 years have witnessed much progress, but there remains an unfinished agenda in many regions of the world. International Women's Day is an occasion to look back on past struggles and accomplishments, look forward to the opportunities that await future generations of women, and continue to work for meaningful change.
