Hello,

When the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation was established 20 years ago, our founders were optimistic about the power of innovation to drive progress.

In this year’s Annual Letter, Bill and Melinda Gates reflect on the progress made, and the progress yet to come as they enter a new decade with continued optimism despite tremendous uncertainty.

The risks and innovation taken in global health and education give us reasons to be hopeful and have helped set the world up for future progress. But there are also growing risks, like gender equality and climate change, where the greatest risk is doing nothing at all.

Join us in reading the 2020 Annual Letter and learn more about why Bill and Melinda will continue to “swing for the fences” in this new decade.
