Neeltje van Doremalen and Others |
In this research letter, investigators report on the stability of SARS-CoV-2 and SARS-CoV-1, the most closely related human coronavirus, under experimental conditions. The viability of the two viruses was assessed in aerosols and on a variety of surfaces; viable virus was detected up to 72 hours after application to plastic and stainless steel. Read the letter. |
