Gender inequality in COVID-19 context |

With the COVID-19 crisis unleashing unprecedented damages across the globe and disproportionately affecting women and girls, HDRO contributed to a series of research products that shed light on the complex picture of gender inequalities in the context of the impact and recovery from the pandemic.
On September 28, the COVID-19 Global Gender Response Tracker was jointly released by UNDP and UN Women. The tracker is the only tool currently available that assesses the gender sensitivity of national policy measures to respond to the crisis, with over 2,500 measures across 206 countries and territories, including those on gender-based violence, social protection and labour markets./.../ and more |
